              ^{Downlouders — Arca (December 4, 2015/2016)}♠   Downlouders is a music laboratory based on improvisation and psychedelia. All the music is for free. Siamo un collettivo di Varese, nato nel 2008 come laboratorio di ricerca basato sull’improvvisazione e la sperimentazione.
♠   I nostri album sono lavori composti e registrati in luoghi sempre diversi e spaziano all’interno di un certo genere musicale, con ‘regole’ precise scelte all’inizio della fase creativa.
♠   Le session sono registrazioni estemporanee, suonate dal vivo e improvvisate da zero, con un tema di fondo scelto di volta in volta.
♠   Le nostre performance live (o instant concert) intendono portare davanti al pubblico lo spirito delle session, integrando l’improvvisazione pura con ‘standard’ su cui possiamo suonare in modo sempre diverso, per includere gli spettatori in un flusso di coscienze che crei un evento unico e irripetibile.

♠   DOWNLOUDERS are a music collective from Varese, Italy, founded in 2008 as a research laboratory based on improvisation. The project brings together musicians from different backgrounds and history, under the common sign of improvisation and psychedelic.
♠   The sound is composed and recorded in different places, ranging within a certain genre of music, with clear ‘rules’ choosen before the composition phase. The sessions are impromptu recordings, played live and improvised from scratch, with a different underlying theme chosen each time.
♠   The live performances aim to recreate the spirit of the sessions, blending pure improvisation to some ‘standard’, on which they can play in different ways, with the purpose to include the audience into a stream of consciousness that create a unique and unrepeatable event.
♠   While offering some session recordings beforehand, 2016 saw their first regular studio album ‘Arca’. Released on Lizard Records it is consisting of nine mesmerizing songs, featuring a post, psychedelic/space and krautrock blend.
