Ξ   Dnes, ve věku 40–ti let, Oxmo Puccino je nedílnou součástí branže francouzských rapperů s velmi bohatou diskografií. Dne 13. listopadu, právě v den bezprecedentních útoků na lidi v Paříži, “Černý Jacques Brel” vydal nové album s titulem Mléčná dráha. Je to již jeho sedmé studiové album po Opéra Puccino (1998), L’amour est mort (2001), Cactus de Sibérie (2004), Lipopette Bar (2006), L’Arme de paix (2009) a Roi sans carrosse (2012). Pařížský umělec obhájí a představí tento nový projekt na scéně pařížské Olympie dne 30. března 2016.
Ξ   Notre avis: Immense voix du rap français, Oxmo Puccino revient en 2015 avec son septième album studio La Voix Lactée. Connu pour sa plume aiguisée, sa poésie rythmique et son regard acéré sur la société, il parvient à se renouveler avec cet opus surprenant qui mélange les marqueurs classiques du hip–hop à des influences électro pop. Co–réalisé par Renaud Letang, producteur de génie qui a notamment travaillé avec des artistes comme Feist ou Chilly Gonzales, cet album est pour le Black Desperado l’occasion de redéfinir les codes du rap à la française.Location: Paris, XIXe, France

Ξ   Le 13 novembre prochain, le « Black Jacques Brel » sortira un nouvel album, intitulé La voix lactée. Il s’agira de son septième opus studio, après Opéra Puccino (1998), L’amour est mort (2001), Cactus de Sibérie (2004), Lipopette Bar (2006), L'Arme de paix (2009) et Roi sans carrosse (2012). L’artiste parisien défendra ce nouveau projet sur la scène de l’Olympia le 30 mars 2016.BIOGRAPHIE:
Ξ   15 ans déjà qu'Oxmo Puccino repousse les frontières du hip–hop. Tout en intégrant des musiciens dans ses albums et sur scène, Oxmo multiplie les collaborations avec des artistes de tout horizon. Auteur au verbe aussi beau que puissant, il offre au rap ses lettres de noblesse et à la chanson française un nouvel élan. « L’Arme de Paix », cinquième chapitre de « l’épopée Puccino », nous a fait vivre d’intenses minutes magiques. 365jours puis 700 remplis de belles aventures et de souvenirs gravés. Un disque d’or, une victoire de la musique et une tournée intense ont scellé un amour fou entre l’artiste et ce public fidèle et toujours naissant qui l’accompagne depuis Opéra Puccino (1998) magnifique prélude à cette belle histoire. La fin d’un chapitre artistique est génératrice de doutes. La suite sera–t–elle source de déception ou va–t–elle nourrir notre imaginaire et nous donner l’envie d’aller jusqu’au suivant? Ceci est valable également pour l’auteur. « Lorsque le rideau est tombé à Bordeaux pour la dernière date de la tournée, je l’ai vécu comme un point final alors que je rêvais de points de suspension ». La page blanche ou comment reprendre une histoire là où elle s’est arrêtée sans se répéter ? « Je bosse dès l’aube et réfléchis chaque soir » répond Oxmo Puccino dans « Parfois ». Comme souvent, la créativité est née dans le travail et dans le voyage. « J’ai eu la chance de vivre des moment extraordinaires avec des artistes comme Joey Starr, Adamo, Beat Assaillant ou Ibrahim Maalouf, ces rendez–vous parallèles qui prennent source dans le plaisir de l’instant, ont tenu ma soif musicale en alerte ». Le voyage ensuite. Le Brésil. « Je ne prends jamais de vacances. Ξ   Cette fois, j’ai répondu à l’invitation de chers amis. J’ai pris un sac, une guitare me fut offerte sur place. A mon retour j’avais écrit et composé six chansons ». « Roi sans carrosse », sixième album de ce chroniqueur humaniste, est aussi celui de l’enfant seul qui aurait grandi. Désormais confronté à des choix (Le mal que je n’ai pas fait), il prend du recul sur la notion de liberté (Parfois), se retrouve confronté à la mort (Le vide en soi), à la paternité (Un an moins le quart). L’homme a grandi, mûri sans doute, mais ce qui faisait ses fondements restent profondément ancré en lui. « Le mal que je n’ai pas fait » ouvre ce nouvel album. Oxmo use du « je », prend la parole, distille ces mots choisis et pose la question du choix. « Il est usuel de flatter son ego en se remémorant les bonnes actions que l'on peut compter à son actif. Qu’en est–il du mal que l’on procure ? Trouver une raison valable de s’empêcher de faire du mal est une voie du salut trop peu empruntée. ». Dans une époque en crise, cette quête du beau revêt de l’acte de foi. Oxmo Puccino rend hommage aux artistes et « peint des chansons à la décibel » (Artiste). D’après la célèbre encyclopédie virtuelle un artiste est « un individu faisant une oeuvre, cultivant ou maîtrisant un art, un savoir, une technique et dont on remarque entre autres la créativité, la poésie, l’originalité de sa production, de ses actes et de ses gestes ». « Je ne m’adresse pas qu’aux chanteurs. Ξ   Je rends hommage à tous ceux qui aiment ce qu’ils font au point d’élever leur métier au statut d’art ». Cette chanson est puissante, moderne. Oxmo Puccino rappe comme jamais, l’orchestration de Vincent Segal est flamboyante, le beat de Vincent Taeger d’une précision implacable. « Artiste » donne le ton de la production de ce nouvel opus. A la fois hiphop, musical et créatif, rien n’est laissé au hasard pour servir au mieux la verve de cet artiste « ponctuel, hors tendance (aux) mots dans le torse » (Les gens de 72). Renouvelant le fond et la forme Oxmo continue à nous surprendre. Le discours est plus direct. Chaque mot raisonne et vient s’ajouter avec précision telle une note sur une partition. La forme est un grand voyage musicale, où se mélangent électrique et acoustique. Difficile de coller une étiquette à ce périple aux multiples saveurs. Musical évidemment, mélodieux forcément, hip–hop pour toujours. A l’image d’un Claude Nougaro qui avait réussi le mariage du jazz et de la chanson, Oxmo Puccino démontre que le hip–hop peut aussi donner du swing à la chanson française. Dans l’oeuvre d’Oxmo Puccino, il y a quelque chose qui relève du réalisme poétique, Rappelant les films expressionnistes des années ’20, la personnification de Paris dans « Pam–Pa–Nam » en est une belle illustration. Dans ce mouvement, les « héros » sont souvent des personnages maudits marqués par la fatalité. C’est le cas de ces « Rois sans carrosses » qui souffrent dans la confidence mais dont la grandeur et la dignité brillent de mille feu. Sur cette chanson, on (re) découvre un Oxmo chanteur. Ξ   Son interprétation pleine d’émotion touche l’auditeur en plein coeur. La délicatesse de Vincent Segal lui offre un écrin cousu de fil doré, où quand le fatalisme brille d’espoir… Ecouter cet album, c’est un peu s’asseoir à l’arrière d’une voiture dont Oxmo serait le chauffeur et nous les passagers. Il pose des mots sur les émotions, les douleurs, les grands et petits évènements d’une vie en les saupoudrant de douceur et de poésie. Plus que des thématiques établies, il est plus souvent question de situations inhérentes à la vie d’un homme. Lorsqu’ il nous parle de mort (Le vide en soi), il l’aborde avec subtilité et pudeur. «On parle souvent de la mort mais rarement du passage à vivre pour ceux qui restent » : « Passées les consolations le silence livre /Une peine aux pages closes desquelles on se délivre / Par des mots qui prennent la peine et la divisent » La relation homme–femme est au coeur de cet album. « Le mâle entendu » comme s’amuse à la décrire Oxmo. Tour à tour on glisse sous les draps, pour un moment de pure douceur et de sensualité, où Mai Lan fait une apparition remarquée (« La Danse Couchée) : « Je crois qu'à partir d'un nombre d'années on peut employer le mot "toujours", je crois donc avoir "toujours" connu Mai Lan, artiste polyvalente avec un grand "AH!!!" il fallait juste attendre que l'occasion se présente... et je ne l'ai pas manquée ». Dans «Un an moins le quart » on se retrouve dans la peau d’un homme devenu père. Puis « Passé le coup de foudre, la vie la joue fourbe». L’ennui pointe, c’est alors que « même les gros duos, débutent face à face puis de côte à côte passent au dos à dos ». C’est l’une des nouveautés, désormais Oxmo Puccino éclaire les relations de couple d’une note d’humour et fait naître un rictus entendu sur nos visages (Pas ce soir) Pour l’accompagner, Oxmo Puccino s’est entouré « d’artisans magiciens ». « Vincent Segal (Bumcello, –M–, Sting…) est un virtuose, de ceux qui transcendent leur art. Cela fait longtemps que nous avions envie de travailler ensemble. Je lui ai fait écouter mes guitares–voix, il a toute suite compris la musique, il s'est investi dans cet album avec tout son coeur et tout son talent ». Renaud Letang, autre magicien, qui a déjà oeuvré aux côtés de Feist, Manu Chao, A. Souchon…: « Renaud a une vision très clairvoyante de la musique. La qualité de ses mix sur mon album précédent m’avait subjugué. Cette fois, il a concocté cet album du début à la fin, aidé du précieux Thomas Moulin, avec une immense générosité ». Ξ   Vincent Taeger (Poni Hoax) est le troisième homme de cette ligue de gentlemen extraordinaires.
Ξ   « J’avais envie de quelqu’un qui puisse aussi bien jouer de la batterie et travailler des programmations. Vincent, que je connais depuis « Lipopette Bar » était l’homme de la situation. Un véritable métronome. » Le résultat est au rendez–vous. « Roi sans carrosse » est un album hip–hop, profond, sensible, d’une musicalité rare et touchante. Un travail d’orfèvre pour une oeuvre moderne qui fait rentrer le rap français dans une nouvelle ère.
