♦≥♦ Inca Gold are a psychedelic, genre blending, pop band from London. Their ethos is centred around experimentation within traditional song writing, where they seamlessly fuse indie–pop sensibilities with afro rhythms, dub flavoured bass lines, explosions of psych rock and upbeat electro jams. Sometimes melancholic and sparse, other times dense and multi layered, their sound is as unique as the influences they draw upon.

Description:
♣ In 2015 I recorded and self released an album with producer and song writer Ezequiel Claverie and bassist Chris Howarth. I played drums and percussion and made the artwork for the album, the concept of which came out of merging several aspects of the project together — the mysterious, ancient quality of the name Inca Gold, the sci–fi sounds of the album, and the themes of parallel worlds in Ezequiel’s lyrics and production.
♣ I used photography by Jonathan Birch for the background, and worked with Jamie Durand to take micro photos of the golden cube, which I then processed and pieced together in Photoshop.
