Son Lux — Yesterday’s Wake (Sept. 19, 2018)

Son Lux — Yesterday’s Wake (Sept. 19, 2018) Son Lux — Yesterday’s Wake (Sept. 19, 2018)✹    Na tomto milém EP jsou vzácní hosté: 3 členové fenomentální kapely yMusic: HIDEAKI AOMORI, ROB MOOSE a ALEX SOPP. Plus maďarsko~americká houslistka Hajnal Kármán Pivnick, narozena a vyrůstající v Memphis, Tennessee. Jí nedělá problém dokonale zahrát skladby od Igora Stravinského — namátkou „Divertimento IV. Pas de deux: Adagio“ a současně i „Sun Propeller“ (2013) pro housle a electronics od Niny Young [sound engineer: Eric V. Hachikian]. Ryan Lott jí oplatil spolupráci a participaci na EP účastí na jejím koncertě dua Shepherdess [mezzo soprano Kayleigh Butcher]. No a nechci vynechat ani basáka (Jackson Hill) a bubeníka, nejvíce známého z působení v kapele Mutemath. [také Twenty One Pilots, Josh Dun, Macrosick, Earthsuit, Sucré, Say Anything, Ill Harmonics, Violents a Mike Shinoda]. O tomto EP není potřeba psát vůbec nic. Již ta směsice a kombinace osobností mluví za vše. Neztrácím čas, jdu si to EP poslechnout opět

Description:
✹    Brighter Wounds is at the center of a body of work, where songs often appear in different iterations. This has been a trademark of the Son Lux project from the start to investigate songs from each album from multiple angles and present the results.
✹    The Yesterday’s Wake EP traces echoes of „Brighter Wounds“ themes while introducing two brand new songs infused with the album’s DNA. We hear the lyrics from „Young“ in the refrain of „Delivery“ and for the first time the phrase „Brighter Wound“ in the final moments of „Yesterday’s Wake.“ Together these 4 songs complete the full album collection.
