Gary Wright — Footprint (album)

                           Gary Wright — Footprint (album)
Θ→     Toto album jsem získal ve středu, 28. března 2018 za 300 korun. Je ve vynikajícím stavu, prakticky 100%. Povšimněte si credits, který zahrnuje co osoba, to jedná silná stránka hudební historie konce 60´/ počátku 70´a u některých, co nezemřeli, až do současnosti. He had never met anyone like George. He wasn’t on an ego trip like other artists. His aura was calm, and his being exuded a subtle spiritual magnetism. An excerpt from ‘Dream Weaver.’
Θ→     Most closely associated with his atmospheric 1976 smash “Dream Weaver,” singer Gary Wright was born April 26, 1943 in Creskill, NJ; a former child actor who appeared on Broadway in a production of Fanny, he fronted a number of local rock bands during his high school years before turning his attention to psychology, completing his studies in Berlin at Frei University. In 1967, Wright’s band, the New York Times, opened for Traffic, bringing him to the attention of Island Records honcho Chris Blackwell, who in turn introduced the singer to the members of the band Art; relocating to London, Wright joined the band, soon renamed Spooky Tooth and later emerging among the UK’s premier hard rock outfits.Fotka uživatele Ben Tais Amundssen.Released: November 1, 1971 (US), January 21, 1972 (UK)

AllMusic Review by James Chrispell
♣     Following a year after his first solo release, Gary Wright put out this superstar~filled record, boasting amongst the credits one George O’Hara, also known as George Harrison. Harrison lent his slide guitar stylings to several of the tracks, most notably “Two~Faced Man,” which he also performed with Wright on the Dick Cavett Show. A much stronger effort, it still failed to set the charts on fire. That’s a shame, because there’s some fine music to be found here. If you get a chance, check out Footprint for yourself.

..... (výňatek)
